What is Voices for...?
A global initiative, between and among the populations of the “have” and “have not” nations of the world, with connections and relationships initiated by North Americans as an attempt toward mutual understanding, discussion and peace.
Who Are We? The Short Version
The “chain of connections” concept and project began in 2002, founded by Dr. Lauren Kennedy-Smith , aka
, (www.drlaurenspeaks.com) and supported by politicians and celebrities in the United States, Canada, England and parts of Europe. It has been monitored and encouraged in a variety of locales and on different occasions by the original group. However, the movement has taken on a life of its own.

Technology, that has otherwise gripped our lives and controls so much that is both foundational and fragile, has given us a way, as individuals, to reach out to others in virtually every country in the world (and vice versa).
(and a few key others) started the circular, human chain that will continue to traverse and encircle the earth.
The alliances or connections include those made in war torn countries, the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, Eritrea, Somalia, India, Iran, Syria and on and on. Where there is a recent refugee or immigrant (and his or her family) somewhat settled into the system in North America, there is a candidate for connections.
The Steps
The steps? Ask someone, one-on-one, if there is someone in his or her family to whom you can email. Then ask your “home ambassador” to ask or inform the relative or friend and then each individual (and group) commits to writing. We have found that for every single person who asks, up to eight connections are made: Ultimately, two informal translators, at least one family member or friend from the foreign country and two additional individuals from the western starting point, even if it’s just through conversation. [we ENCOURAGE each “Starter” to pass the chain to two others who then make their own one-on-one contact(s).
Ideally, in your own environment at work or in another setting:
Ask, Connect, Allow for preparedness, Pass it forward to at least two friends/associates, Connect, Sustain the connection and form others.
Voices for International Alliances (© 2002) is a subsidiary, global initiative of : Dr. Lauren Innovations: TM Customized Learning Initiatives, the mission of which is to create and support initiatives dedicated to creating or furthering unity among individuals and groups by connecting through communications technology or by “enter-sharing” (with groups, organizations, corporations,..ETC.) the latest science of human behavior , particularly as it relates to relationships and the challenges of modern living.
